What this platform is for
RF14B is RF14A in an aluminium housing. Same electronics, same 150 × 37 × 14 mm envelope, different hand feel and a different presence on the shelf.
For a premium SKU the case is often the difference the buyer can actually feel. The electronics do not have to change to get it.
