What this platform is for
IR45A is a full-size infrared handset built around a learning function. It can take over the codes of the remote already in the room, so a replacement does not ask the user to learn a new key map.
There is no radio in it at all. That keeps the bill of materials and the certification path short, and it is the right starting point when the product only has to point at a TV, a set-top box or a projector.

- Certification — CE, FCC, UKCA, KCC or TELEC are scoped to the final configuration and market.
